Ex Madam Kristin Davis running for Govenor in New York
So, Kristin Davis, Former madam for Eliot Spitzer (and probably Andrews Father, Mario Cuomo) is now running for Governor of New York against Andrew Cuomo. She was able to get the needed 15,000 signatures easily as she procured 23,000.
She'll be the first woman in New York history to run for the office while on probation (for one count of promoting prostitution in the third degree).
Her background is pretty impressive for a 'Madam' as Kristin is an accomplished businesswoman, an Entrepreneur and a women's rights activist. She spent 10 years in Finance where she started as a Trading Assistant. By the age of 25, Kristin was Vice President of a Hedge Fund in charge of Securities Processing, Derivative Accounting and SEC Compliance.
Her educational background is just as impressive. Kristin graduated high school Valedictorian at the age of 15. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Business from St. Mary's College.
This is certainly going to be an interesting election to watch.
Her platform is pro prostitution (big surprise) pro marijuana, pro gay marriage and pro casino gambling. Her idea is to make these legal and tax them to raise more revenues for cash strapped New York.
