He was only 27 years old and was still getting better. While mostly known for his phenomenal guitar playing, Jimi was also a great songwriter, producer and composer.
Had he lived longer, a lot more people would have come to know his amazing musical talents (and not just his pop hits, hey joe, purple haze, etc).
